November 24, 2008 — Senator Greenleaf presented the
Hatboro Police Department with a $7,500 Department of Community and
Economic Development grant check. The grant will be used for the
purchase of new breath testing equipment for suspected DUI offenders.

celebration at Ann's Choice Retirement Community in Warminster Township.

November 10, 2008 — Senator Greenleaf presents the members of the
Fort Washington Fire Company No. 1 with a $5,000 Department of
Community & Economic Development Grant sponsored by the Senator.
The funds will be used to purchase mobile data terminals (MDTs) for

November 7, 2008 — Senator Greenleaf presented a Senate Citation
congratulating teacher, Mrs. Jackie Litzenberger, upon her retirement
from Our Lady of Good Counsel School in Southampton, after 36 years of

November 7, 2008 — Senator Greenleaf is presented
with the "Leader in Clean Air Award" from the Family Health Council of
Central Pennsylvania for his Clean Indoor Air Act.

November 6, 2008 — Senator Greenleaf participated in a Town Hall Meeting
on Juvenile Justice sponsored by the American Bar Association and
Georgetown Law School in Washington, D.C. As the long serving chairman
of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Senator Greenleaf has championed
efforts to transform young non-violent offenders into productive
citizens.

October 27, 2008 — A longtime advocate for the humane treatment of
animals, Senator Greenleaf attends the bill signing of HB 2525 to
regulate kennels and stop puppy mills in Pennsylvania.

October 17, 2008 - Senator Greenleaf joins high school
students for the anti-smoking Youth Quest Rally at the state capitol in
Harrisburg.

On September 16, 2008, Rabbi Greg Marx, guest of Senator
Greenleaf, served as Senate Chaplain for the day.

 On September 9, 2008, Senator
Greenleaf presents a citation to a Korean War Veteran at a ceremony
held at the Willow Grove Naval Air Station to honor those who served
in the Korean War.

May 20, 2008 - Senator Greenleaf joins students and
family members at Archbishop Wood School in Bucks County for the
presentation of a $20,000 Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program
grant to offset tuition costs. |

While at SCI Chester, Senator Greenleaf, Secretary of
Corrections Dr. Jeffrey Beard, and Prison Superintendent John Thomas
visit a class of inmates enrolled in the State Intermediate Punishment
Program (SIPP), a state-run rehabilitation program for inmates addicted
to drugs and alcohol.

On April 7, 2008, Senator Greenleaf was joined by members
of the American Cancer Society’s Colleges Against Cancer for a rally at
the state capitol to speak about the dangers of secondhand tobacco smoke
and to advocate for a smoke-free indoor air law.
