WILLOW GROVE—State Senator
Stewart J. Greenleaf (R-Bucks / Montgomery) will hold a breakfast for Vietnam
War Veterans who reside in the 12th Senatorial District on Saturday, October
25th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Williamson's Restaurant, Route 611 and
Blair Mill Road in Horsham, PA.
The breakfast is being held
exclusively for Vietnam War Veterans who reside in the 12th Senatorial District
which includes the following municipalities in Bucks and Montgomery Counties:
Montgomery County: Franconia,
Hatfield, Montgomery, Horsham, Upper Moreland, Lower Moreland, Upper Gwynedd,
Lower Gwynedd, Upper Dublin, Hatboro, Ambler, Bryn Athyn and North Wales.
Bucks County: Warrington,
Warminster and Upper Southampton.
In order to attend, eligible
veterans must contact Senator Greenleaf's district office at 800-924-3300 by
Friday, October 17th. They must provide their name, address, phone number,
branch of service and military rank.
In 2005, Senator Greenleaf held a
similar event to honor World War II Veterans and again in 2007 for Korean War
Veterans. The Senator anticipates future events honoring all the men and women
who have served in the armed forces during each of the United States' foreign
conflicts.
"These are important opportunities
to bring veterans together to show our appreciation," said Senator Greenleaf.
"I look forward to meeting with our honored veterans and learning about their
time of service. From them, we gain a deeper appreciation for all that we enjoy
as Americans."
