Senator Greenleaf to Host Breakfast Event for Veterans of
Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and the Gulf War
Willow Grove—State Senator
Stewart J. Greenleaf (R, Bucks, Montgomery) will hold a breakfast for veterans
of the 12th Senatorial District who have served in Operation Iraqi Freedom,
Operation Enduring Freedom, and the Gulf War. The event will take place on
Saturday, November 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Williamson’s Restaurant,
Route 611 and Blair Mill Road, Horsham, PA.
"It has been my honor to host
similar events for World War II, Korea, and Vietnam veterans since 2005," said
Senator Greenleaf. "I look forward to this event for the veterans of the last
three major foreign conflicts."
The breakfast is being held
exclusively for Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Gulf
War veterans who reside in the 12th Senatorial District which includes the
following municipalities in Bucks and Montgomery Counties:
Montgomery County:
Franconia, Hatfield, Montgomery, Horsham, Upper Moreland, Lower Moreland, Upper
Gwynedd, Lower Gwynedd, Upper Dublin, Hatboro, Ambler, Bryn Athyn and North
Wales.
Bucks County: Warrington,
Warminster, and Upper Southampton.
In order to attend, eligible
veterans must contact Senator Greenleaf’s district office at 800-924-3300 by
Friday, October 30th. They must provide their name, address, phone number,
branch of service and military rank.
"These are important opportunities
to bring veterans together to show our appreciation," said Senator Greenleaf.
"I look forward to meeting with our veterans and learning about their time of
service. From them, we gain a deeper appreciation for all that we enjoy as
Americans."
